This practice is intended to remove earwax and “toxins” from a person’s ear by means of a hollow candle placed in the ear. The hop air is claimed to melt earwas and create a vacuum that pulls out toxins for the inner ear and sinuses. Not intended for people with ear tubes, perforated ear drums are arificial ear drums.
